This project consists of the editorial design for a gatefold vinyl edition bringing together Heart Frostbite, by Marçal Dos Campos, and New Emotion Revisited 2002–2015, by Ana3 and Marçal Dos Campos, two works connected by a shared emotional landscape, yet separated in time.

The conceptual starting point of the design is the idea of default. The project deliberately adopts two default system typefaces, Times New Roman 12 pt and Arial, historically embedded in everyday software environments and commonly associated with different modes of use: print and screen, editorial and interface.

Rather than treating these typefaces as neutral or unintentional, the project reclaims them as conscious editorial choices. Their coexistence introduces a subtle tension between paper and screen, permanence and transience, material and digital — a tension that echoes the temporal and emotional distance explored in the music itself.

The cover is conceived as an almost silent surface, where minimal typography and the absence of imagery reinforce this restrained position. Throughout the project, the extensive use of white space plays a structural role, allowing the artworks created by invited artists for the inner sleeves to breathe and assert their presence without visual competition.

Inside, the design unfolds through extended text, credits and contextual information. Rhythm, hierarchy and spacing are used to construct a measured reading experience, treating the vinyl record as an editorial, archival and cultural object rather than a purely promotional artefact.
